1. Introduction

IMDigital is an academic learning management platform. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service and when we use third-party services (such as Google/YouTube for live lectures).

2. Information We Collect

We collect account information (name, email, role), course enrollment and activity data, and usage necessary to operate the platform. When YouTube Live is used, the platform connects to Google/YouTube under OAuth to create and manage live streams; we store only the tokens required for that integration.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide the LMS (courses, materials, live lectures, assignments, grades), to communicate with you, and to improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google (e.g. YouTube Data API for live lectures) under their terms and privacy policy. Use of those features is subject to Google’s policies. If you choose Continue with Google to access open learning programs, Google shares your name, email address, and Google account identifier with us so we can create or sign you into a learner account; we store your Google account ID only for sign-in.

5. Security and Retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. We retain information as needed to operate the service and as required by law or institutional policy.

6. Contact

For privacy-related questions, contact your institution or the administrator of this platform.
