Dr. Adnan Amin received his Ph.D. with scholastic honours in Artificial Intelligence: Machine Learning and MS in Computer Science (specialisation in Databases/Data Mining) with distinction in 2015 and 2023, respectively, from the School of Computer Science and Information Technology in the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), Peshawar, Pakistan. Currently serving as Assistant Professor (Computer Science) and Program Director (Head of Dept. of Computer Science) at the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) Pakistan. I am also visiting faculty at Al-Farabi National University Kazakhstan (online). He worked as an international consultant for curriculum and academic development at the School of ICT, NIMA Kabul (connected to the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland), under a World Bank-funded project for Maxwell Stamp PLC, London. Additionally, I have worked on industry-driven AI solutions and served as a consultant for various projects (e.g., Research Associate at Zayed University Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Portucalense, Porto, Portugal). He is also leading the additional assignment as head of IM|DigiSol and serves as the faculty adviser for the Computing and Innovation Society (IMCIS). Dr. Adnan has authored more than 42 publications, including Web of Science-verified journal articles, conference papers (IEEE, Springer, Elsevier), and book chapters (Springer), with a cumulative impact factor score of 170+. His research has received 1585+ citations, with an h-index of 17 and an i-index of 19, reflecting the recognition and impact of his contributions. His research focuses on industry-driven and cross-disciplinary areas, including customer churn prediction, continual deep learning approaches, health informatics, analysing complex social networks and link prediction, and DDoS attack detection. He has also actively contributed to academic conferences and workshops as a track chair, session chair, workshop chair, technical program committee member, and reviewer.
